SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs

  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 1 frozen pie shell (do NOT thaw)

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2

  4. 4
    Mix until incorporated.
  5. 5
Add remaining cheese and stir lightly.
  6. 6
    Pour in frozen pie shell.
  7. 7
    Bake 40-50 minutes until set.
  8. 8
Note: you can add just about any filling and it turns out just great.
  9. 9
Just be sure to lightly saute any fresh vegetables before adding.
  10. 10
Sprinkle filling into pie shell before adding eggs mixture.
  11. 11
Redistribute filling gently with rubber spatula.

This is delicious! It will also be my base for all my quiches from now on. I may also try it without the crust for lower carbs. I added sauteed mushrooms and some chopped ham. Thanks for a winner.

This quiche is amazing! It was so fast and easy to put together and the taste is wonderful. I used a Mexican cheese blend. The eggs were so moist and fluffy it was almost like a souffle in texture. I will be making this again and again! We added Pace Picante sauce on top. Yum! This quiche is awesome as is, but I could also see it would be a great base for any kind of add-in you might want--like bacon or green onions, chopped tomatoes, etc. Thanks for a keeper Jaymee.

This was very easy to put together and made a nice a nice brunch dish. I made it with cheddar cheese. I did not use a crust, but poured in directly into a pan sprayed with cooking spray. (I rarely use crust, just a personal thing.) Thanks for sharing your recipe Jaymee.
