I made this as a Christmas gift for a friend and of course I HAD to sample it. I was so impressed that I had to whip up a batch for myself. I took the earlier suggestions of 2 cups of sugar instead of 3 and it turned out perfect. Everyone on my list is getting a bottle next year. Thanks for the recipe Tebo!

Very nice. Tastes very good. I would suggest adding a couple teaspoons of Basco, or Hersey chocolate syrup.

Thanks Tebo This is the same recipe that I lost (can''t find). I agree it is very good. Guess I''ll just have to do it again twist, twist, Cheers Bergy (I forgot to add that I cut the sugar back to 2 cups, not quite as sweet)

Thanks Bergy. I had meant to mention in the introduction that I, too, cut the sugar down. Three cups is great for ice cream but a bit too much as a liquor. I usually do 2 cups of sugar as well.
