My best friend Linda, served this appetizer last night. I wouldn't leave until she gave over the recipe!

    Combine butter, onion, peppers, cheese, mayo, and garlic powder.

    Slice bread 1/4 inch thick, spread with butter mixture.

I made these exactly as the recipe was stated and found them to be not tasty at all. The mayo was just weird and overall the flavors did not blend together. I cannot figure out why everyone else liked these!

    These are excellent! I was skeptical about the chilies, but the combination of everything together was delicious! My whole family and boyfriend loved them. I think I will be making them as snacks more often. I added twice the amount of garlic and cheese. Will definitely do again!!!

    Thanks Carol for this very tasty, very easy topping for bread. Tonight I served this with lasagna and salad. I'm sure this will become a favourite, well used recipe at our summer BBQ's.
