You always get a salad and a bowl of soup with your food and rice when you order in Japan, it's called a dinner set. I love the dressings! So easy to make too! I used to make the Ginger dressing for my Okinawan friends all the time and they loved it!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Oil and Vinegar

Ginger Dressing

Directions

  1. 1
To make either dressing put ingredients in a bowl, not ingredients for both dressings though! Just one dressing at a time.
  2. 2
Whisk all ingredients in a bowl till combined.
  3. 3
Pour over salad or set on side for people to pour themelves!

Wonderful! I tried the oil and vinegar yesterday for lunch, and the ginger one for dinner tonight. Very quick and very tasty. I used olive oil and put them on a salad of lettuce, tomatoes and green onions. I will make both of them again. Thank you for sharing these tasty dressings!

I made the ginger dressing last night!! OH yes it was good! I added just a little grated garlic..and for oil used the combo canola/olive. Thank you for the recipe!
