I too found this in the cooking light magazine, but thought they were just ok. Easy to prepare, but nothing special about the taste. Not sure what it was missing, but it was just ok.

i was not looking for HOT because hubby cannot handle it but i was looking for punch and despite all the seasonings it didn't quite have the punch i was hoping for. I will give it one more try and applying the rub in the morning and let marinade in the fridge for the day to see if it helps. I also oven baked the chicken as we are not big on fried food.TY for the posting and i will update when i try it the new way.

I made these last night and they were not spicy at all. (But I think I have an asbestos tongue). Even my 5 yr old tried some! I did cook them at 45 minutes in the oven at 350. I am not a fan of pan frying chicken...It takes too long and time is something I run out of daily Thanks NurseDi!

I made this with two thighs, two drumsticks and two wings from a whole chicken that I cut up. I ended up baking it at 350 for about an hour, turning after 30 minutes. Then we had something else for dinner, so this went into the freezer for a couple of weeks before we ate it. Still delicious !
