Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 (14 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef

  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

  1. 1
Heat oven to 375. Spray 13/9 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. In large bowl, beat eggs. Stir in pasta sauce, bread crumbs, onion, Italian seasoning, salt and beef until well blended. Press mixtue in bottom of baking dish.
  2. 2
Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 160 degrees F.
  3. 3
Meanwhile, make mashed potatoes as directed on box, using milk, hot water and butter.
