Italian Ground Beef Dinner

This quick italian supper is great on a busy day. Lots of flavor.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Mix the first 7 ingredients.
  2. 2
    Add ground beef, and 3 T parmesan and mix well.
  3. 3
    Shape into 6 patties.
  4. 4
    Brown patties for 2 minutes per side.
  5. 5
    Mix tomato sauce and italian seasoning, pour over patties.
  6. 6
    Reduce heat,cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. 7
    Place spaghetti on plate.
  8. 8
    Add pattie, and spoon sauce over.
  9. 9
    Sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese.

Great flavours! Instead of using ground beef I used ground pork and I chose to form the meat into meatballs instead of patties but the seasonings were spot on.

    I also cheated, and used jar sauce, but I have to tell you the meat pattie mixture is delicious! My son said said it was like spaghetti and flat meatballs! We marked this one down as a winner, and will definitely make it again. Thank you for sharing it!

    I loved this one inez, you are fast becoming my favorite recipe poster. I have never been able to make a good spaghetti and meat ball dish and I have tried many times but this one turned out great. I didnt change a thing. Thanks.
