Great recipe! I have a hard time getting my son to eat chicken. I coated some tenders in an egg wash and then with these breadcrumbs (I used fresh bread), then sauteed in butter and olive oil, and my son devoured it!! Anything that gets such a reaction surely deserves 5 stars. DH and I also loved the flavor and crispy texture. Thanks for a keeper that I'll use over and over.

EXCELLENT! I made my own bread crumbs with some old bread in the frig and then used this recipe to top them off. I really didn't have the money to go out and buy any, but the best part was these turned out better than anything I could buy.

What a wonderful recipe! I followed it exactly, and will never need to buy the more expensive Italian seasoned breadcrumbs again. This is something that you can make out of ingredients you probably already have in your house, so you can just keep plain breadcrumbs in your pantry and make the seasoned ones as you need them.

Perfect! I substitute 100% whole wheat bread crumbs for plain, but other than that.....better than store bought! Absolutely perfect for # 19135!!
