Italian Bread Dip

Recipe #60956 | 10 min | 10 min prep | add private note

We've had this in the finer Italian restaurants here in Michigan and it's a must have when eating Italian recipes. If you are a garlic lover, you will love this and adjust the garlic to your preference. My hubby & I usually share a plate of this and I'll have 5-6 pressed cloves of garlic on my side alone!

SERVES 2 -4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Pour Olive Oil onto salad sized plate.
  2. 2
Place pressed garlic all around the edges of the plate to form a ring of garlic.
  3. 3
Drizzle balsamic vinegar over garlic& olive oil.
  4. 4
Sprinkle parmesan cheese, oregano,& black pepper over entire plate.
  5. 5
Dip Italian Bread or French Baguette until your garlic loving heart contents.

This is fantastic! I forgot the parmesan (oops) and used garlic powder and it was still delicious. It looks so fancy too. Thanks for sharing

Thankyou we enjoyed this...I decreased the garlic substantially..I used approx 1/4 tsp minced garlic. I also added 1 tbsp basil..I drizzled the balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup over the other ingredients ... we really enjoyed this with our pasta salad and fresh french bread......mmm

Very enjoyable dip. Love all the flavors. Anything with garlic and parmesan gets a thumbs up here.
