This recipe mixed up quick and easy, I baked it at 350 degrees...it doesn't mention the temp on the recipe, for approx 45 minutes. I used the optional raisins and liked the sweetness of the bread. Thank you Rita!

I took this bread to a dinner party and the guests enjoyed it a lot. It has the taste and consistency of a sweet scone vs. bread. I believe the chef forgot to include a liquid so I added one cup of milk; I also baked it at 350f for 40 minutes. It didn't want to come out the skillet very easily so I'd suggest lightly coating the pan with butter and flour before adding the dough. I would make it again to serve with a brunch.

Delicious soda bread. I made it half whole wheat flour and half white flour. It is great but for me it was a little bit too sugary, so I might omit a little next time. Thanks for posting!
