Hotter Dan Heck BBQ Chicken Legs

hot and spicy bbq chicken recipe, i used legs, all cuts will work. I like hot wings, but the legs and thighs are cheaper, wanted something to stand up to the meater parts. i used equal parts smoke flavored and regular bbq sauce.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

    add 12 chicken legs to flour spice bag, shake well to coat all. Place in refridgerator for 1 hr in sealed bag.

    after 1 hr, fry legs in skillet with 350 - 375 degree oil until legs are browned.
  3. 3
    cover baking sheet with foil.
  4. 4
    preheat over to 375.
  5. 5
    transfer browned legsto bowl with sauce mixture, coat well and add to baking sheet, when all are coated place in 375 degree oven for 35 - 40 minutes until done.

These were awesome!!! I floured them and put them in the fridge as the recipe states, then I floured them again and fried them. I finished them in the frying pan and served the sauce on the side. Wow I can fry chicken!! Thanks so much for a great recipe.

    These were wonderful! I made this for some friends and it was all gone between the 4 of us. Didn't have to change a thing on the recipe. If you like spicy chicken this will be right up your ally. Thanks for posting this sgt_pepper
