Hot Pepper Jelly and Cream Cheese Dip

Recipe #87380 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

By: wildhorse
Mar 26, 2004

This recipe came from one of my husband's friends. Odd sounding ingredients (all two of them), but VERY addicting! He suggested eating them with Bugles and I can tell you it was an excellent suggestion. Sweet from the jelly, creamy from the cheese, and a little bite from the pepper. Mmmmmmm.

1 cup (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 (4 ounce) jar of hot pepper jelly (red or green)

Directions

  1. 1
Combine cream cheese and hot pepper jelly in a bowl.
  2. 2
Beat with electric mixer until smooth.

I couldn't be more pleased with this easy appetizer! What's not to like with 2 ingredients? I used my homemade pepper jelly and mixed it with the cream cheese and put it on some Wheat Thins.....yummy! Thanks for a quick and easy dish that will be a favourite of mine in the future!

Love this! I bought the jelly at a shop at Kitchen Kettle Village in Lancaster, PA while visiting recently and they give out samples of this. Boy, does it sell a ton of jelly. I like mine on Triscuit crackers.

Super dip for those 'I don't have much time' parties. Comes together in literally a couple of seconds and goes great with potato chips, veggies or whatever you have on the table.
