Hot Mulled Wine

Hot mulled wine is a tradition around Christmas. Posting this recipe for safe keeping and to see the calories...yikes!

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Pour red wine in to a 3 gallon (or larger) pot and heat over med. flame.
  2. 2
    Add sugar and spices. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. 3
    Add brandy, white wine, slices of one orange and the lemon.
  4. 4
    Steep for one hour over low heat.
  5. 5
    Serve hot and garnish with orange slices or a cinnamon stick.
