Hot Mulled Apple Cider

    Combine brown sugar, allspice, 1 teaspoon cloves, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and apple cider in large saucepan.

    Bring to boiling.

    Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Strain to remove spices.

    Serve in mugs with clove-studded orange wedges.

Huge hit when I served this at my niece's bridal shower! Guests didn't even touch the coffee...very unusual! I put all ingredients in a crockpot in the morning and it was ready to go and wonderfully hot for the whole party. Great recipe!

    This was great. I can't stop drinking it! I made a double batch. right amount of spice and the brown sugar added just enough sweetness. Change nothing!
