Hope's Amazing Margarita's - Aka Rigamarta's---Hiccup--

Recipe #135648 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

They are not called Rigamarta's for nothing! My friends started calling them this after only ONE drink! They pack a punch but are very flavorful and yummy. You dont really taste the alcohol so be careful! These are 'on the rocks' which makes them easier to make by the pitcher. If you prefer frozen just mix all ingredients with a blender filled 1/2 way with ice and blend. They are also great made 'virgin' for those who do not care to imbibe!

SERVES 4 , 1 pitcher (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In large pitcher mix limeade with 2 cans water.
  2. 2
Fill empty can once with tequila and add to pitcher and then again with Triple Sec. This will give you a measure equal to 12 oz.
  3. 3
Juice three of the limes and add juice to pitcher and stir well.
  4. 4
Garnish with remaining lime, sliced, and salt if desired.
  5. 5
Note: to add salt to glass, run lime slice around rim and turn over into a plate filled with salt.

Now this recipe made my night complete!! After a day of running around with barely time to breathe this was just what I needed. DH does not really drink margaritas and he helped himself to my pitcher. I will make these again. A real easy crowd pleaser!

Great margaritas! I mixed this up and keep it in the freezer so we can have margaritas anytime we want without any fuss. These taste better than the commercial freezer margarita buckets, and cheaper to make too. In fact, I froze it in one of those old margarita buckets.

I made a pitcher of these for a football party we were having. It was mostly guys so I thought I wouldn't have to share. My husband took one sip and it was all over. I ended up making 5 pitchers so everyone could have some. They were great!
