Ed and I are going to enjoy this salad on October the 15th. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and vegetarian, includes this lovely recipe on her website... it's perfect for honeymooners, or anyone else madly in love. Active and passive work times are entirely up to you.

In 3 days it will be my 33rd wedding anniversary and I've used this recipe many many times without even knowing what 'honeymood salad' was. Glad it has a name to it now!! Thanks for sharing a keeper recipe. (I too can't believe that some gave it only 1 star)!!

    Been using this recipe for almost 30 years and it's just as good now as it was the first time! DH is still sticking around, and we both feel the honeymoon isn't over yet. Would get a 9.9 stars if available. Recommended to all...

    Over 21 years ago, my Grandfather (World War I veteran, lived to be 102!) had one piece of advice for my husband and I at our wedding. He said we should have some honeymoon salad after the wedding! "Lettuce Alone". Good memories.
