Honey Teriyaki Marinade for BBQ Chicken

Recipe #185719 | ½ day | 5 min prep | add private note
Swan Valley Tammi

By: Swan Valley Tammi

My personal favourite recipe for barbecued chicken. I often serve chicken done this way with the rice from my Pork Chop Casserole (Pork Chop Casserole). This recipe is enough to marinate 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts. (Cooking time is marinating and bbq-ing time)

SERVES 4 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Mix all ingredients and pour over chicken in marinating dish or sealable plastic bag.
  2. 2
Let chicken marinate for 6-8 hours for best results.
  3. 3
    Barbecue and enjoy!

This is an awesome marinade recipe! I added some fresh garlic and a little pineapple juice and I let the meats marinate overnight. I marinated chicken breasts and I also used this recipe to marinate steak kabobs. Everyone was raving about the flavor. Thanks so much!

absolutely delicious! i cut up the chicken into bite-sized pieces and placed it in the marinade for 10 minutes and proceeded to dump the entire thing into a skillet and cooked it on med-high heat. i added some cornstarch to thicken the mixture and served it over white rice. it was soooooo good.

This is a great recipe and very easy to make. I pounded the chicken out flat, so it would cook more even and then marinated it overnight. My family loved it and wanted the recipe. I will make this again.
