This is a recipe that my mom use to make for us kids, we didn't have much money so instead of going out we had this and fried rice for Chinese night. They still taste great and I serve them at every party i have or go to. Hope you enjoy.

Hey SSgtballard! These were great and my family loved them. I had 2#'s of chicken wings and had plenty of sauce. I was out of fresh garlic so I substituted with a teaspoon of garlic powder. I served them with lo-mein noodles for an easy meal but I will definitely use this recipe for a party tray. Thanks for sharing!

These were quite nice. Had lots of marinade left over. Good for cooking when you don't have much time and don't have time to marinade wings for hours/overnight.

These are amazingly good! I'd planned to make this for my Xmas dinner party, but I just had to try it before serving to my guests. I used chicken drumlets only and marinated them in the sauce mixture for 8 hours. Baked them 20mins each side and finished in the oven with "grill" function. They got slightly charred, which I love! I also simmered the marinade/sauce in a saucepan, and reduced it to a sticky glaze. When the wings were ready from the oven (5 mins under broiler, skin side up), I tossed them in the reduced sauce. Beautiful sticky wings! Thanks for the recipe. By the way, I added 1 tsp 5-spice powder and 1 tsp ground ginger to the marinade.
