This was good...lots of veggies. I added 2 potatoes and 2 extra carrots. Thought it needed some spicing up...just a smidge bland.

We enjoyed this soup, and loved the fact that there were so many veggies in it. I was a bit disappointed that it tasted, to me, just like beef stew, except with more liquid and less beef. I'm not sure what else I was expecting.

This was such a wonderful comfort meal! Didn't have tomato soup so I added one small can of tomato sauce mixed with a little water. In addition to frozen mixed veggies I also added frozen lima beans. I know the potatoes and cabbage are optional but glad I added them both. You wont even know the cabbage is there. It just cooks down but I feel it gives it a special flavor. Tried to wait 12 hours but couldn't wait past 10 and it was still excellent! Only got better as it cooked. Husband and I both loved it. Only gets better the next day.

This was the EXACT flavor I have been looking for in vegetable beef soups! My kids & 1 of their friends ate ALL of it, and they usually hate soup with vegetables in it. But this on is a hit with them and a keeper for me! Thank you for sharing Wildheart!
