Tasty, basic, and cheap!

SERVES 56 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Mix the water with the two sugars.

    Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Remove from heat, and stir in maple flavoring.

    This may form crystals but can be reheated.

    Does not need to be refrigerated.

    Thanks for sharing this great recipe! We can't use store bought because of corn intolerance so this recipe is a real find. We made a half batch the first time and it was moldy smelling after a week or so, so now we make a quarter batch and use it right away.

    Hi Wildheart: Just tried your YUMMIE Homemade Syrup this morning. It's not only tasty, basic, and cheap, it's just wonderful, that's all! Great taste, fast and easy to mix, pretty easy on the pocketbook! I followed your directions, but because there are just two of us here, I cut everything in half and simmered for about 10 min. Absolutely excellent. Thanks so much for sharing. Laudee C.

    WOW! Let me tell you, it worked for me, My son and Wife wanted Pancake's like right now, and I lived to far from town to go and get some syrup, but I knew that I would be able to find something on the internet, and Lo and Be hold, here it is how to make Syrup..
