Thanks for sharing this great recipe! We can't use store bought because of corn intolerance so this recipe is a real find. We made a half batch the first time and it was moldy smelling after a week or so, so now we make a quarter batch and use it right away.

Hi Wildheart: Just tried your YUMMIE Homemade Syrup this morning. It's not only tasty, basic, and cheap, it's just wonderful, that's all! Great taste, fast and easy to mix, pretty easy on the pocketbook! I followed your directions, but because there are just two of us here, I cut everything in half and simmered for about 10 min.
