This is a very easy recipe that my mom used to make when i was growing up-you can change the types of cheese to add a different flavor too. I like it spicy !

Just made this substituting vermont white cheddar and yellow sharp cheddar for the cheeses, added sliced green onion and little yellow mustard to the sauce. Baked it at 375 for 20 minutes, it was amazing! The sauce really performs well.

this was fantastic... simple enough that we kicked it up a notch with some paprika, fresh ground pepper, dry mustard, minced onion, garlic powder, and some slightly steamed broccoli pieces to boot. you can do just about anything with this recipe, thanks!

I'm always looking for new recipe's to try for the "basic" side dishes. This one was spot on delicious! I didn't have American cheese on hand, so I used all the same type of cheese, Cabot's 50% less fat Sharp cheddar and this was to die for! My son who is extremely picky when it comes to Mac and Cheese, asked for seconds and even begged for me to make it on Christmas as well. So thank you so much Cheryl! This was delicious!
