Hey Girls Chocolate Muffins

My kids love this recipe that they got from school. I believe it is originally from Holly Hobby. I am posting it to keep it safe, since the paper it is printed on is covered in ingredients! ha!

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.

    Grease 12 cup cupcake tin or use liners.
  3. 3
    Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda in large bowl, mix together.
  4. 4
    Add eggs, milk, chips and melted butter.
  5. 5
    Stir until well blended.
  6. 6
    Spoon into muffin tins.
  7. 7
    Bake 18-20 minutes.

Very nice! Added 1 tsp of cinnamon to batter, 3/4 tsp salt (I used unsalted butter) and sprinkled choc chips on top before baking. Thanks for posting!

    I think I used a bit more butter than stated in the recipe, but they still came out really nicely

    Wonderful and light! I made these for my preschooler's bake sale (of course we had to try them at home). I doubled the recipe without any problems. Thanks!

    These are a real treat! Muffins, or little moist chocolate cakes? Hmmm. The only change I made was to use 1/4 c. oil instead of 1/2 c. melted butter. I also dusted these with powdered sugar. They taste wonderful! Rich and chocolatey. I got 12 muffins and a little bonus mini-cake. These are a hit...thank you for posting this!
