Easy to make, and tastier than store-bought

3 dozen (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2
    Mix dry ingredients.
  3. 3
    Add oil and milk.
  4. 4
    Gather into a ball.
  5. 5
    Roll between waxed paper thinly and evenly into a 10 x 12 rectangle.
  6. 6
    Prick with a fork, and cut in 2 inch squares.
  7. 7
    Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  8. 8
    Bake 12-15 minutes.
  9. 9
    Place on a wire rack and bake additional 1-2 minutes.
  10. 10
    Store in air-tight container.

Awesome crackers.Here are the only changes i made. I used 1/4 cup whole wheat flour and 1/4 cup flour.( I always try to incorporate as much whole wheat flour as possible in recipes.) Did not have any oat bran so i used wheat bran instead and they still came out delish!! Wow!

    This was interesting experiment. The combination of flavors is excellent, and, disregarding my own lack of ability to roll out dough, I think I can see the possibility for lots of delicious crackers for a talented cook. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
