In response to a request, this was found in the cookbook that came with my Toastmaster Bread Machine. I haven't tried it. Cook time includes mixing and rising time in machine, and this will vary according to your brand of machine.

This was very good. I used sunflower seeds instead of walnuts and thought the bread was perfect. Thank you for sharing. Will definately make again.

This is delicious! This is now my go-to recipe for healthy bread machine bread! My whole family loves it, including my picky husband and picky toddlers and picky baby (I think that covers it). I don't feel guilty about giving them something that's loaded with butter or sugar either (because it doesn't have either of those things)! Hooray! Thanks so much!

This recipe was very good. The texture turned out light and airy - almost like store bought. I used honey instead of molasses and added about 1/4 cup wheat germ. It's wonderful with thin sliced cheese, or chicken salad. This also inspired me to create a pecan bread recipe that turned out great, as well. I'll post it to share.

This makes a wonderful loaf of bread which slices easily. The only change I made is that I used a packet of instant maple flavored oatmeal, because I had run out of my regular oatmeal. I also used quick rise yeast with this recipe for the first time and it worked very well. This bread makes a great sandwich, and I used it for French toast this morning - oh, yum! I could easily sit down and eat the rest of this with a little butter, no problem!!
