This is rich and delicious — very healthy too! I got the recipe from my boss.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Heat oil in large pot.

    Add garlic, onion, celery, and parsley.

    Cook until soft.
  4. 4
    Stir in tomato paste, bouillon, water, cabbage, carrots, salt, pepper, and sage.

    Mix well.

    Bring to a boil.

    Simmer 1 hour.

    Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cheese.

    Heat through.

    Serve with Parmesan cheese on top.
