Harmony Tahini Salad Dressing

Recipe #22627 | 3 min | 3 min prep | add private note

52nd Street, Manhattan, 1981 my train's subway stop was right under the building to my office. Rounding the corner, was a juice/salad bar which had a phenomenal breakfast/lunch following. Needless to say, I was one of their best customers, everyday, twice a day and over and over again I'd eat the same salad dressing on anything and everything...they finally relinquished this secret recipe to me. I'm happy to pass this on to you. It's light and delicious and I hope you will also use it over and over again!

I used olive oil instead of canola (and used less than half of what was called for), dried parsley (didn't have fresh) and shook in some garlic powder instead of the crushed fresh (because I was lazy). It still came out great! I poured it over a salad with romaine and green leaf lettuce, carrot, fine diced onion and chick peas and served it with garlic bread. My boyfriend and I have decided this is the best salad dressing we've ever had! I will be making this all the time.

A nice, different, yummy dressing that I used on romaine, chopped carrots, and pickled radishes. Thanks for a recipe I will use again!

Oh wow! This is yummy! Tastes a lot like hummus. A little bit goes a LONG way. I cut the recipe in 1/2 and served it on mixed greens with tomatoes and cucumbers. It is fabulous on the cucumbers! I have a big huge jar of tahini to use up so I'll be making this one again soon. Thanks for sharing!

I CAN'T STOP EATING THIS. I'm about to do shooters of it. Added flax seeds and used extra virgin olive oil. Really good mixed with Annie's Goddess dressing too! (the store bought stuff)
