Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 12 ounces white dipping chocolate
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chip
- blue food coloring
Directions

Cream the butter and peanut butter together.2
Beat in the vanilla and sugar.3
Chill for 1/2 hour.4
Roll into small balls, chill on wax paper for another 1/2 hour.5
In a microwave, melt the white dipping chocolate.6
Using two spoons dip the eyeballs into the white chocolate.7
Let cool on waxed paper until firm. Chilling will speed up the process.8
Pour a drop or two of blue food coloring into the remaining melted chocolate.9
Make a round iris on the eyeball, and immediately press a miniature chocolate chip in the center for a pupil, doing 5 at at time.10
For the bloodshot effect, dip the tiny end of a toothpick in red food colouring and squiggle the lines from the pupil outward, but not quite to the edges of the ball.11
These are quite tasty--considering how creepy they are.12
Note: White dipping chocolate is also known as white bark.

These were beyond delicious! I made them for halloween and everyone couldn't get enough. They are very sweet but oh so creamy and good. A paint brush words great for the veins.

These were the hit of our Halloween meal. DH wouldn't quit eating them and DS loved the fact he was eating eyes....(I'm not sure about that), I am so glad I made these, they were easy and taste great. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

These were SO good! Absolutely delicious and addictive..plus very clever decoration for a Halloween themed party. I needed a lot more white dipping chocolate though, I used almost an entire 24 ounce package...12 ounces was not quite enough to coat the 40 eyeballs, and you still need additional white chocolate to tint blue for the eye centers.

I love these--they're like an extra creepy Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I ran out of dipping chocolate when I made mine, so next time I will buy an extra bar just to be sure. I also used a new clean paintbrush to put on the blue iris color and the red squiggles. (I tried the toothpick method first, but the paintbrush was much easier.) I'm going to make these every Halloween now! Thanks Dee.
