When it is hot outside, who wants to heat up the oven and the house. These are great to go along side with any meat or fish dish. I clipped this recipe out of a Taste of Home Magazine. I also add onion, but the recipe doesn't call for it.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
On half of a 24-in. piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil, arrange the potato slices in overlapping rows. Combine garlic powder, seasoned salt, paprika and Parmesan cheese; sprinkle over the potatoes. Dot with butter. Seal foil over potatoes.
  2. 2
Grill over medium heat for 30 minutes or until tender, turning once.
  3. 3
Note: I cook it off of the direct heat, so I don't burn them, and I cook for about 45-60 minutes.

I took your advice and placed them off of direct heat for 45 minutes. They turned out great. Thank you.

Wonderful potatoes that cook while you grill. I shook the spices with the potatoes in a large freezer bag, then poured melted butter over them before placing on the grill. Fabulous! Made for Holiday Tag.

Delish! I tried these in the oven (350F for 1 hour) and they made my kitchen smell great! They were simple and very tasty. Thanks diner for sharing.

Simply delicious! We made ours in an aluminum foil pie pan then plated it. Similar to Wisconsin potatoes which are made with cheddar cheese instead of parmesan. Thanks for sharing diner524. Made for ZWT4.
