Grilled Chicken Wings

Recipe #31266 | 35 min | 15 min prep | add private note

The marinade is simply wonderful and so easy. If you bite into one of these hot off the grill the rest may not make it into the house! Make extras because the kids will eat them cold the next day. I marinated the wings for 6 hours to overnight. I also use 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger finely grated instead of ground ginger.

I made these for our 4th of July BBQ today as I wanted some thing "different." We all really enjoyed them. When I first made the marinade and tasted it, I though it was awful and feared that they would taste really bad but there were 6 of us and we all enjoyed them.

These were moist and easy to put together but the flavor was just so-so. I used drumsticks and marinaded them overnight before cooking them on the bbq. I didn't eat anymore after the first go round however husband willingly ate the leftovers for several days.

Wow! I made these wings for my husband and myself tonight and they were fabulous. i marinated them for 6 hours and then we tossed them on the barbie. It's been really hot in Toronto these last few days so these wings were perfect out on our deck with a pasta salad and some romaine with loats of cherry tomatoes. We washed them down with a chilled white wine.Divine!Geoval2

It just doesn't get any better! These are so good and so easy to make. This recipe will be a permanent addition to my cookbook! I served these with fries and coleslaw. Scrumptious! Thanks Charlotte!
