Green beans with garlic butter

Liven up your veggies! You can substitute other green vegetables for the green beans.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 9 ounces green beans (or Green Giant no salt added green beans with almonds)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 dash pepper (freshly ground if possible)

Directions

  1. 1
    Cook beans according to package directions.
  2. 2
    In a separate bowl, combine butter, garlic and pepper.
  3. 3
    Drain beans; place in serving bowl.
  4. 4
    Add butter mixture; toss to coat evenly.
  5. 5
    Serve immediately.

    Garlic just goes with anything (except drinks and some desserts ) I added more garlic, warmed it in the micro with the butter and pepper and added to the beans. Simple, quick and good. Thanks for the recipe.

    This is a great way to use can green beans. I love the garlic butter in this dish. It was very simple to make and ohhhh so delicious!!!
