I made this for a family gathering and it was a huge hit! I added extra hot sauce since we like things with more of a kick.

This is very good cheese ball we all enjoyed the flavor the green chillies gave it. I used cheddar cheese and used more than one cup. Also I drained the chillies well before adding. The cheese ball was still very moist when I made it but after being in the fridge for awhile it was perfect. I used green onions and didnt add any extra salt as I found it didnt need it. Thanks for sharing this recipe, one I will be making again. Made for the "prop it up" event in the photo forum.

I like making cheese balls for parties and this one is a great addition to my regulars. I'll add some ancho powder for a slightly smoky flavor as well and some cilantro.

Gingerbear this was wonderful! I took it to work this afternoon and it was a hit! The only change I made was to use fresh anaheim chilis. I was making green chili so I just roasted a few extra for the cheese ball. The flavor was wonderful, the heat was just right - enough to know it was there but not so much to overpower the wonderful green chili flavor. I'll be making this again! Ok, I made it again for a Christmas party. I shaped it into a tree, sprinkled it with snipped fresh parley, and decorated it with sweet red pepper and pine nuts. Very cute!
