My husband requests this recipe every holiday. Very good and really simple too.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Melt butter in sour cream on stove.
  2. 2
    Stir in green beans and remove from heat.
  3. 3
    In a 1 1/2 quart baking dish, put a layer of beans, then a layer of cheese.
  4. 4
    Continue this variation of beans, then cheese until you exhaust the ingredients.
  5. 5
    The last layer should be cheese.
  6. 6
    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  7. 7
    Spread onion rings on top and heat for another 3 to 5 minutes.

My daughter and her family enjoyed this recipe. I added chopped onions and garlic powder to the sour cream mixture. I didn't use the onions rings on top because some of the guests didn't like them, but I think it would have been much better with them on top! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

    Very good - made it according to the recipe (doubled as serving 18 people). Nothing leftover and nice and easy to make.

    Sooo simple, and very good. I ended up doubling the recipe because I was serving 8 people, but I really didn't need to — it would have been plenty without doubling. I'll make this again for sure.
