This is a scaled down slightly different version of a recipe I found. I use it on normal green salads and pasta salads, my wife even mentioned using it on sub sandwiches.

SERVES 20 -30 , 1 bottle (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Simply pour all ingredients into a container (bottle is best).
  2. 2
    Shake vigorously until well mixed.
  3. 3
    Store tightly at room temperature.

Thank you!!! So many of the dressing recipes are way too oily for me and my family. I left the rosemary out of this dressing and used canola oil & it was really good. I may try to add lemon juice and a little Splenda next time to see if the lemon makes it even more "Greek" but it was the best of the Greek dressings I have tried from 'Zaar. Nice and zesty, and not overly flavorful without the rosemary. Best of all, it didn't taste like oil.

Great combination of herbs and spices, however the vinegar was way too strong. I use a very good red wine vinegar that i have used for years. I have never seen a dressing that used vinegar and oil in equal amounts or ar in this case even more vinegar than oil. In order to make it eddible I had to add more oil, 1/3c of water and 2 tsp. of Splenda. Now I love it. Next time I will only use 1/2c vinegar.

Unbelievable. I am in love w/ Panera's Greek Salad. This dressing is pretty close. I served it over salad sprinkled w/ feta cheese. I could eat this every day. Thanks for sharing.
