What a great way to start the day! These are made with my Healthy Granola Healthy Granola.

36 cookies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. 2
    Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. 3
    In a large bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar; add eggs, milk and vanilla beating well.
  4. 4
    In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. 5
    Mix well and add to sugar mixture.
  6. 6
    Stir in granola; drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
  7. 7
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are browned.

    I bought some granola with dried blueberries and raspberries in it, we really didn't like it much, but wow it was sure great as a cookie!! Thanks for posting, DH loves them and I will certainly use up the rest of the granola to make more!

    Maybe it was because I made my own granola to put in these, but to me, they turned out basically just like oatmeal cookies, which are okay, but I was expecting something different or I would have just made oatmeal cookies.

    Great tasting cookies. I used granola cereal that we didn't like and had around the house for some time.It made a wonderful cookies. I made them as directed, replacing shortening with margarine. Thank you.
