Granny's Pecan Pie

This is NOT an overly sweet pecan pie. Just the way my granny made it

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. 2
    Blend margarine, sugar, corn syrup and flour.
  3. 3
    Add eggs, salt, and vanilla.
  4. 4
    Pour into pie shell.
  5. 5
    Cover with broken pecans.
  6. 6
    Put in preheated 425 degree oven.
  7. 7
    After 3 or 4 minutes, turn oven to 300 degrees.
  8. 8
    Cook for about 45 minutes or until middle of pie is set.
