Grandma's Molasses Sugar Cookies #21993

I inherited Grandma's Recipe Box when I was sixteen. She was locally famous for her cookies and pies. This is my very favorite cookie. It's made a little differently from other Molasses Sugar cookies. I think that gives these cookies their nice outer crunch and tender, chewy insides. Very nice, mild flavor. Great for dunking in a big glass of milk or hot tea. Here's to you, Grandma!
