Grammy's Pumpkin Pie

Traditional pumpkin pie passed down from generation to generation. It is important to use a Green Striped Cushaw Pumpkin and King Syrup.

SERVES 8 , 5 Pies (change servings and units)

Directions

    To prepare pumpkin remove skin and boil until soft.
  2. 2
    Strain for several hours to remove as much water as possible.
  3. 3
    Can be frozen for later use.

    Mix all ingredients and pour into pie shells.

    Top with Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Allspice.

    Bake at 325-350 Degrees 45-55 Minutes.
