Georgia Peachy Keen Smoothie

Yum. Just Yum! Makes one big frosty smoothie.

SERVES 1 -2 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 large peach, sliced and unseeded
  • 1/2 cup peach yogurt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 6 ice cubes

Directions

  1. 1
    Blend the peach slices with the ice cubes and milk first until slushy texture is formed.
  2. 2
    Add the yogurt and blend for another minute on low setting.
  3. 3
    You may substitute fresh peaches with canned peaches with the syrup in this smoothie recipe.

I made this using Greek yogurt and some peach preserves in place of the peach yogurt, which worked out well, my DH enjoyed this today, thanks for sharing!...Kitten

    Very tasty, even with canned peaches. I am looking forward to trying this later in the season with a "real" peach! Made for ZWT III.

    AshK, this was a lovely smoothie. It will become a breakfast treat in our household. We don't have fresh peaches yet, so I used some homemade canned, and did add some of the syrup. Next time we might try blueberry yogurt with the peaches. Thanks AshK!!
