Recipe #136054 | 20 min | 10 min prep | add private note

Adopted from Recipe Zaar. I noticed that there was no garlic added to the recipe, so I've updated to include the garlic. This is very very good.

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Over medium heat, sauté the garlic in the butter for about a minute then add the Brussels Sprouts and saute until wilted, about 7 minutes. We like to cook until they get a bit brown which took about 10 minutes.
  2. 2
Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. 3
    Add cream and serve.
  4. 4
Feel free to adjust proportions to suit your taste!

UPDATE: I had to give this the fifth star since it is now the ONLY recipe I use for Brussels sprouts. This is the very best. My previous review follows: Excellent. Made this without the cream, sliced the sprouts, and it was delicious. Thanks to you, Nimz, for posting.

Great! I added more garlic and used half and half instead of cream. Wonderful preparation for brussels sprouts.

Oohhh... lovely indeed! DH and I demolished these! In fact I made these ages ago, and have made them multiple times from a printout of the recipe I'd made, and only discovered that I'd forgotten to review it when I misplaced the printout. Luckily the photo with the recipe number was still in my computer. This was SO easy to make and wonderfully tasty. Please see my rating system: an excellent 5 stars for dressed up sprouts that are all out to impress and do !
