Garlic Chutney

For garlic lovers. Goes well with BBQ, and makes a great gift.

SERVES 32 , 8 jelly glasses (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Cook apples in vinegar till soft and mushy.
  2. 2
    Add remaining ingredients (adding only half the pepper flakes) and mix well.
  3. 3
    Cook over moderate heat about 10 minutes.

    Taste.
  5. 5
    If spicier taste wanted, add remaining pepper flakes.
  6. 6
    Cook 15 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
  7. 7
    Pour into sterile jars and seal.
  8. 8
    If not sealing, store in refrigerator.
  9. 9
    (This keeps a long time in the refrigerator).
