This is another holiday favorite side dish. The green beans are crunchy if you don't cook them too long and the garlic and almonds give it an extra crunch. Yum

These went great with our Easter feast of pork tenderloin and garlic mashed potatoes with chunky applesauce on the side. This is one of my favorite ways to make green beans. You should try it!

I love fresh green beans. These are perfect. I steamed them for 8 minutes along with the garlic. The almonds were put into the pan and lightly toasted, beans and garlic stirred in along with a touch of the olive oil. The beans were topped off with sea salt and freshly ground pepper. A definite repeat recipe.

Deliciously garlicy! Love the crunchy addition of the slived almonds. Will make this again!
