6 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 4 medium lemons, halved
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups sliced fresh fruit, such as star fruit, mango, strawberries, kiwi, nectarines, peaches, and or limes
  • ice cubes

Directions

  1. 1
Juice lemon halves. If necessary, strain juice through strainer to remove lemon seeds. You should have about 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  2. 2
In a large jar or pitcher combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, water, and sugar. Stir vigorously until sugar is just dissolved.
  3. 3
Add assorted fruits. Ladle immediately into individual cups filled with ice cubes, or chill several hours.
