This is a very yummy recipie! I was looking for different (healthy) ways of eating fruit as a dessert and this tastes just like banana ice-cream! I changed the recipie a bit; i just melted a few chocolate chips and some peanut butter together in the mircowave and poured that over the banana before freezing. I didnt bother with the popsicle stick. A few hours later i had a nicely refreshing dessert!

haven't made them yet, but for those having trouble with the popsicle sticks in the bananas, just use a wooden skewer - the size works better with soft things and it also works with strawberries.

I have yet to try these either, but wanted to mention that as I was watching a foodnetwork program the other day on this subject, it was mentioned to skewer the banana before peeling it. Once it is securely on the stick, then you can take the peel off around it. Might help, looking forward to trying these out!

Used Hard Chocolate Sauce - Dairy Queen Style as suggested for the chocolate coating and flaked almonds (chopped a little more finely). One batch of chocolate covered 4 large bananas, so mixed the left over almonds into what was left of the chocolate and got 5 little nut clusters. My taste testers would give it 10 stars if possible and had 8 requests for the recipes. A definate keeper thank you de Roche'. Made for the tag game. As an update instead of nuts try shredded coconut or hundred and thousand or any sprinkles used on cakes (especially if you have someone with a nut allergy).
