Oh my goodness, what memories this brings back! I had these all the time growing up. So glad to see this posted and that others enjoy it too. Gee I thought I was the only one that cut slits in them to prevent curling LOL! This is will be on my grocery list in the near future. Thanks for posting Little Bee!

Never thought of using hamburger buns for one of my favorite sandwiches! This recipe is SO good and everyone raved over the sandwiches even though they were very simple to make. The only thing I did different was to add mayo to the mustard for my Dad and daughter Crystal as they don't really like mustard alone. Delicious!

My family loves these. Both my husband and I had these on regular bread and just plain (without mustard or cheese)when times were tougher. Sometimes we would buy the chubs of bologna (unsliced) so we could slice it thicker. I think it's time to have one of these again really soon. Thanks for bringing up good memories.

I grew up in the Midwest & this is the 1st thing I learned to cook when I was growing up! There's not much better than fried bologna, as a sandwich or by itself.
