Recipe #354115 | 1¼ hours | 20 min prep | add private note

Hawaiian style BBQ pizza loaded with vegi's and flavor to make this anyones favorite. Even the dough itself can make awsome garlic bread sticks. Easy to cook in no time at all

SERVES 8 -10 , 1 Pizza (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
start by dissolving yeast into water and let stand for about 5 minutes.
  2. 2
While yeast is soaking, wisk flour, baking soda, and peppers untill fully mixed. Add water and yeast and kneed mixture untill a firm dough appears.
  3. 3
Refriderate for about 5 minutes to harden dough.
  4. 4
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  5. 5
In a small bowl mix BBQ sauce, Ranch dressing, hot sauce, diced tomatoes and garlic and wisk thouroughly. Set aside.
  6. 6
Get pizza dough from fridge and spray a 12 inch pizza pan with non stick spray and roll out dough over pan while folding over the edge to make a crust.
  7. 7
    Bake for 10 minutes.
  8. 8
While crust is baking, Chop all vegitables and set aside.
  9. 9
Take crust out of the oven and sprinkle cheese over the dough followed by the Sauce ( the fat free cheese melts a lot better under the sauce.
  10. 10
I would then start with all of the flatter vegitables followed by the chunky ones.
  11. 11
Place pizza in oven and bake for 30 minutes and crust is golden and vegis are cooked.
  12. 12
If any extra pizza dough is left, roll into breadsticks and place jalapenos centered in the middle os stick while basting with butter and minced garlic and they make a wonderful appatizer!
  13. 13
    Let cool and enjoy.

Pretty much followed this recipe, but did use just half the amount of red pepper flakes cut the hot sauce back to 1 teaspoon, & left out the mushrooms! Maybe that seems like a lot of change, but the pizza that resulted was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, & we particularly enjoyed the pinapple & jicama used here! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
