I have made this twice and the topping is excellent, however..Next time I make this I think I will add a bit of sugar and cinnamon with the apples, I felt the apples lacked something. I used spy apples the first time and the suggested granny smith apples this time. Some nuts in the topping would be good too..but I reitterate the topping is excellent as is and there is plenty, no need to increase amount of topping as I have with other recipes. Good with vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!

yummy! I use golden delicious apples as that is what I had on hand and it was so good! Plenty of topping, (my favorite part!)

FABULOUS! If you are an apple dessert person...this is one of the best I've had. What a GREAT dessert for company with a scoop of Ben and Jerry's vanilla. I doubled the amount of "crumble" on the top as the original recipe seemed skimpy (or my apples were big), anyway, it turned out PERFECTLY.

I found this to be excellent! I also made it using museli on top instead of oats and found it a great change. Jayne (Australia)
