I just made this and loved it! I only made half of the recipe, and used whole wheat shells instead of macaroni. Also added about a cup of frozen veggies. So simple and good. No more boxed stuff for us!

This was easy, fast & better than the boxed kind! My husband ate a portion but wasn't thrilled by it. I used whole wheat pasta & low fat mexican cheese blend. It may work better w/ plain old cheddar, so I may try that, or find a recipe that bakes it & see how that works! thank u for sharing this

Super fast and easy. Good basic recipe for traditional mac and cheese with a good amount of cheese sauce. My picky toddler had three servings, a record! No more complicated than the boxed stuff, but so much better. I'd put the servings at 4-6. Thanks, Marie!

Easy and probably would be a kid-pleaser. Not quite zippy enough for me and my hubby. I used extra sharp cheddar. I wonder if adding some dry mustard might perk it up a little? Seems I remember that ingredient in some of the old time recipes.
