I got this recipe from a co-worker who made it for a luncheon we were having at work one day. The meat comes out very moist and very flavorful.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Place roast in crockpot.
  2. 2
In bowl, mix together the sauces and the soup mix.
  3. 3
    Pour sauce mixture over roast.
  4. 4
Add enough water to crockpot so that it reaches about three-fourths of the way up to the roast.
  5. 5
Cook on low 7-8 hours. Shred beef and serve on sandwich buns.

This was good and easy to throw together in the morning before going out the door. It also used items I always have on hand. Seven hours in my crock was too long but it was still tasty. I followed the recipe exactly as written.

The best and so easy. Moist and tender. Served on toasted rolls with some of the sauce spooned over it.

This was a hit.... HUGE hit with my boys. I added 1/4 cup more water, but other than that followed the recipe to the "T". Made great sandwiches, and was so easy to make. Thanks Lainey for another keeper in my book. ~V
