THANK YOU FOR THIS ONE! Yes, it's not gourmet but you made me an egg hero for the first time ever! I make TERRIBLE tasteless eggs (my one cooking downfall) and my kids LOVED this. I've never had this before the and directions were spot on so that even an egg-making failure could make this come out great! Thank you!

I've been making this for years because it's a such a great recipe. I learned it back in 1988 from my friend Helen who also introduced me to Helen's Cheese Rice. I always butter my nonstick pan though because it makes the eggs creamier and I even add a bit of garlic powder to the beaten eggs before cooking sometimes (this I got from my dear ole dad). I normally serve the eggs on buttered toast with bacon or country sausage patties and sometimes. Thanks for posting it!

I also remember this from my childhood... very easy egg preparation for the "new" egg cook! It will make you look like a superstar! Now that my tastes have matured somewhat (LOL) I really enjoy my eggs with sharp cheddar instead of the american, but my BF still insists on it as written... Thanks for sharing!!!
