This didn't cause any build up in our dish washer! All cascade dish soap leaves a thick coat of powdery white, but this soap kept everything nice and clean! Wonderful recipe!

So far, so good!! Now just have fun finding Borax! Took me a few stores, but got one last box at Super T. If it works on pots and pans, I'll come back to give it a 5! Thanks!

This works pretty well, but it didn't rinse off all the way, even with vinegar in the rinse. I am spoiled with my Cascade! So I tried something...I used the borax and baking soda mix in the prewash and half of the usual amount of Cascade in the main wash and vinegar in the rinse. Wow! The dishes were at least as clean as before and I saved so much money! My cascade lasts four times as long and my dishes are shiny clean!

I really, really wanted this to work, but unfortunately it didn't. Everything had a cloudy film on it. I tried it with really dirty and well rinsed dishes but it just didn't clean nicely - even w/a rinse aid.
